So here is our finished living room! It features a flat, smooth ceiling, walls that are no longer purplish red, and glowingly refinished woodwork. Note the clean edging between the wall and ceiling paint. That was my doing! Look out, Martha Stewart!

After several hours of sanding his masterpiece of drywall ceiling, Paul snapped this photo of himself. Yes, I avoided most of this messy project, so there aren’t any pictures of me. I did help clean up the mess in our living room, though. It looked like it had snowed in there!
